Hi, I'm Steev Vado
I was born in Nicaragua and later moved to the United States with my family in search of new opportunities and a better future.
In 2025, my life changed unexpectedly when I was detained by ICE while going through immigration court proceedings. Although I spent one year in physical detention, I discovered a freedom that no one could take away—the freedom found in Jesus Christ.
While at the Krome Detention Center in Miami, Florida, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ. Later, after being transferred to a detention center in Georgia, my relationship with God grew stronger than ever before. During that season, the Lord transformed both my spiritual life and my character in ways I never imagined possible.
One of the greatest blessings God gave me during that time was meeting Pastor Hamilton, who faithfully guided me, encouraged me, and helped me grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. Through his mentorship and God's grace, I learned that true freedom is found in serving Christ.
Today, I continue to serve the Lord with gratitude and purpose.
